Apex Mining Co., Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the mining, milling, concentrating, converting, smelting, treating, preparing for market, manufacturing, buying, selling, and exchanging of metals and minerals in the Philippines. It operates through Mining, Oil and Gas, and Solid Waste Management segments. The company explores for gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, brass, iron, steel, and various metal and minerals ores. It also holds interests in the Maco gold mine located in the municipalities of Maco and Mabini in Davao de Oro province in Southeastern Mindanao; and the Sangilo and Suyoc mineral properties located in the Benguet Province. It also explores for oil and gas; offers solid waste management services; and trades in gold and copper. The company was formerly known as Apex Exploration and Mining Company and changed its name to Apex Mining Co., Inc. in 1978. The company was incorporated in 1970 and is headquartered in Pasig, the Philippines. Apex Mining Co., Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Prime Strategic Holdings Inc.
