Inflation has to be contained and RBI should increase the rates by another 25 bps.

Rbi must immediately increase rates by 0.25 percentage and 0.25 by next meeting .I think that will be good enough if done timely .As rbi as per by thought is behind the curve

The current nifty PE is 21.3.  When can one start buying nifty index for long term investment?  As the interest rate is going up, it should bring the indices down soon.  Any useful thoughts backed with logics?

Am no professional. My thought: Wait for a Nifty fall to 15000. This number is likely to be crossed on downside if US enters recession. Such a period will be great for long term SIP on Nifty ETF.
