It operates hypermarkets, convenience supermarkets, and franchised supermarkets under the Continente, Continente Modelo, Continente Bom Dia, and Meu Super brands; health and wealth products under the Wells, Arenal and Druni brands; book shops/stationary under the Note! brand; dog and cats products and services under the ZU brand; and cafeteria/restaurants under the Bagga brand. The company also offers electronics and appliances through digital channel and physical stores under the Worten brand; services under the Worten Resolve brands and iServices banner; and pet care products and services under the Musti ja Mirri, Musti, and Arken Zoo, as well as online retail under the Peten Koiratarvike, brands. In addition, it is involved in the provision of telecommunication services to residential, personal, corporate, and wholesale markets; investment management activities; real estate business; financial services; retail of clothing, footwear, accessories, baby and children clothing, and jeans under the MO, Zippy, Losan, and Salsa brands; and invests in health and sustainable food companies. It operates in Portugal, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Romania, Brazil, Mexico, the Netherlands, and internationally. Sonae, SGPS, S.A. was founded in 1959 and is headquartered in Maia, Portugal. Sonae, SGPS, S.A. is a subsidiary of Efanor Investimentos SGPS, SA.
