Birzeit Pharmaceuticals Company manufactures and trades in various medicines in the Palestinian Authority. The company offers its products in various therapeutic fields comprising alimentary system, cardio-vascular system, muscolo-skeletal system, endocrines, central nervous system, genito-urinary system, obstetrics and gynecology, infections, dermatological preparations, ophthalmic drugs, respiratory system, and nutrition and metabolism, as well as ear, nose, and oropharynx. It also provides OTC products, such as multivitamins and minerals, and supplements; and skin/topical care, allergy and cold, eye care, mouth and nose care, pain and fever, and digestion and gastrointestinal products. In addition, the company offers its products in various dosage forms, including ampoules, capsules, tablets and caplets, syrups, suspensions and granules, ophthalmic, semi-solids, powder vials, suppositories, and powders. Further, it manufactures and trades in cosmetics products; and provides printing and publishing services. The company serves the Ministry of Health, as well as health care organizations and programs; and end users through pharmacies and physicians. It also exports its products primarily to Algeria and East Europe. The company was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Ramallah, the Palestinian Authority.
