The fund invests in the fixed income markets of countries across the globe. It primarily invests in corporate bonds which are rated investment grade and can be of any maturity. The fund employs fundamental analysis focusing on factors like yield, credit quality, the level of interest rates and inflation, issuer’s cash flow, business strategy, leverage and operating margins, general economic and financial trends to create its portfolio. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the Barclays U.S. Intermediate Credit Bond Index and the Barclays U.S. Credit Index.
