Market Action - This Week (26-June-20 to 3-July-20)
Peering through the monthly performance of sectors, among the major sector Financial Services have shown an increment by 20.96%, Infrastructure Construction and Engineering have increased by 16.64, Banks PSU, Banks Private, Industrial Manufacturing and Fertilizers and Agro Chemicals have shown a growth of 16.33%, 15.14%, 14.15% and 13.84% respectively. Among the minor sectors Defence, Ship Building, Sugar and Telecom have increased by 37.06%, 35.33%, 23.23% and 19.14% respectively.
Nifty opened at 10306 this week and went up to 10631, 78 points more than its previous weeks high. Nifty closed at 10607 almost 300 points above its open. Major players of the market FII & PRO have combined sold 9105 contracts in index option yesterday. Nifty trend indicates Buy Bias as on 3rd July 2020, but it can switch to Sell Bias or Buy any time.

The weekly performance of the markets globally is as follows: The US Benchmark Index, S&P 500 opened at 3025, went upto 3165 and closed at 3130. Hong Kong Index, Hang Seng performed better this week in comparison with its position in the previous week. The index opened at 24562, made a weekly high of 25481, around 400 points above its previous week’s high and closed at 25373. Japan Index, Nikkei opened at 22219 and went upto 22447.
