GBP Deviate From Session Highs

On the eve of the Fed meeting, on Tuesday, the Commerce Department will release data on orders for durable goods. On Friday, data on the US GDP for the 4th quarter of 2014 will be released. According to forecasts, GDP grew by 3.2%.

GBP / USD is close to the upper boundary of the trend channel

Over the last trading day in the market, there is still high demand for the US dollar and most likely, this trend will continue. Now on the agenda is the problem of EU investors with Greece. After the formation of the new government, Greece will seek a review of the debt owed to creditors, but the main lenders require Greece to fulfill its obligations. It is obvious that the political crisis in Europe begins to mix with the economic, increasing pessimism of investors. On the other hand, the increase in the asset repurchase program - ECB - can serve a good opportunity for speculative activities, stated analysts of Panteon Finance (rated among the TOP Forex Brokers Masterforex-V World Academy http://www.masterforex-v.com/).

The price for the pound today, January 27, failed to pass a strong support level and bounced off it. Now it is near the top of the trend channel. It is possible that the border of the trend channel will put pressure on the pair, leading to lower prices. Therefore, after patterning a 5-3 formation is recommended to resume the search points to open short positions with the targets 1.4850-1.4820 and protective stops for losses to place the level of 1.5190.
