Investing.com -- Hindustan Unilever (LON: ULVR ): The country’s largest insurer Life Insurance Corporation (NS: LIFI ) raised its holding in the FMCG giant from 11,73,80,500 equity shares to 11,76,90,500, aggregating to a paid-up capital of 5% of the economy.

Asian Paints (NS: ASPN ): The paint major acquired a majority stake of 51% in Weatherseal Fenestration for Rs 18.84 crore, making it now a subsidiary of the paint giant.

NTPC (NS: NTPC ): The public sector giant will commence commercial operations of 15 MW solar capacity at Kawas Solar Project in Gujarat, starting Wednesday.

Bajaj Auto (NS: BAJA ): The company’s board has deferred a share buyback plan in a meeting on Tuesday, while Shekhar Bajaj has resigned as Non-executive Director due to health reasons, wef June 30, 2022.

Hero Motocorp (NS: HROM ): The national insurer LIC has increased its holding in the auto major from 9.163% to 11.256%.

GR Infraprojects (NS: GINF ): Subsidiary of the construction engineering firm GR Bandikui Jaipur Expressway has executed an agreement with NHAI to construct a 4-lane greenfield expressway. The agreement deal is worth Rs 1,368 crore.

Engineers India (NS: ENGI ): Nayveli Lignite has appointed the state-owned company as a project management consultant for the 1,200 TPD lignite to methanol project, the first of its kind in India.
