Stocks Under Focus on Dec 22: ITC, Metro Brands, IOC & More

Investing.com -- Metro Brands Ltd (BO: METB ): The footwear retail company will launch on the Indian exchanges on Dec 22 and has been trading at sharp discounts in the grey market, indicating a muted-to-weak listing. The issue price is set at Rs 500 a share.

ITC (NS: ITC ): The cigarette-to-hotels conglomerate has increased its holding in the Agzo app operator Delectable Technologies to 27.34% on a fully diluted basis.

HCL Technologies (NS: HCLT ): The technology giant has signed a five-year agreement with the global construction materials company CEMEX, and will also collaborate with the latter’s subsidiary NEORIS.

Indian Oil (NS: IOC ) Corporation: The state-owned oil company has acquired a stake of 4.93% in the Indian Gas Exchange Ltd, the country’s first automated national-level gas exchange for trading in natural gas .

Axis Bank (NS: AXBK ): As per sources, the country’s third-largest private bank is now the highest bidder to acquire Citi Bank’s consumer banking business, and would likely gain the latter’s 26 crore high-end credit card customers.

MOIL (NS: MOIL ): The manganese ore mining company’s shareholders have approved to buy back over 3.38 crore shares, representing 14.3% of the total number of shares in its paid-up share capital.

CE Info Systems Ltd (NS: CEIF ): A total of 3.18 lakh equity shares of the software company debuted on the Indian bourses yesterday, have been acquired by Fidelity Investment Trust Fidelity Series Emerging Markets Fund, and Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS ) Funds have purchased 3.76 lakh shares of the company at Rs 1,393 apiece on the NSE.
