Investing.com -- State Bank of India (NS: BOI ): The state-owned lender has appointed Nitin Chugh as its Deputy Managing Director for an initial period of 3 years, to drive digital banking operations. Chugh is the former CEO of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank.
HDFC (NS: HDFC ): The mortgage lender is in talks with the state-owned insurer LIC for raising about Rs 10,000 crore through a local bond sale in the week.
Reliance Industries (NS: RELI ): The conglomerate’s convention centre is opening at Jio World Centre, Mumbai. This is set to the country’s largest convention centre.
Nazara Technologies (NS: NAZA ): The online gaming company will acquire a 33% stake in the ad-tech company Datawrkz Business Solutions and will issue equity shares worth Rs 25 crore to existing shareholders of the latter.
PVR (NS: PVRL ): The multiplex chain is in final talks of merger with peer Cinepolis, for reshaping the film exhibition industry in the country.
PNB (NS: PNBK ) Housing Finance (NS: PNBH ): The mortgage lender’s board would decide to raise capital and hold a meeting for the same on March 9.
Info Edge India (NS: INED ): The Naukri.com and Jeevansathi.com owning IT company has acquired a majority stake of 76% in the online dating platform Aisle Network for Rs 91 crore.
