Stocks in Focus on Jul 14: HDFC, Hindustan Zinc, Dabur India & More

By Malvika Gurung -- HDFC (NS: HDFC ): The mortgage lender will raise up to Rs 5,000 crore on Friday by launching an issue of bonds on a private placement basis.

Infosys (NS: INFY ): The IT giant will be acquiring the Denmark-based BASE life science for 110 million euros, amounting to about Rs 875 crore in an all-cash deal, bolstering its footprint across Europe and the life sciences business.

Hindustan Zinc (NS: HZNC ): The mining company’s board has approved an interim dividend of Rs 21/share, with July 21 as the record date for payment of the dividend. The payout will lead to an outflow of Rs 8,873 crore.

Dabur India (NS: DABU ): The FMCG major has acquired a complete stake in the Bangladesh-based Asian Consumer Care for Rs 51 crore from its JV partner Advanced Chemical Industries.

Tata Power (NS: TTPW ): Subsidiary TP Saurya has won a wind-solar hybrid power project of 600-MW capacity in Karnataka from the state-owned solar energy giant SECI.

Duroply Industries (BO: DURL ): The plywood firm’s board has approved to issue nearly 10.3 lakh shares to one promoter and 25 investors, including Porinju Veliyath and Ashish Chugh, through preferential issue.

Sanofi India (NS: SANO ): The pharma company’s board of directors will consider the announcement of a one-time special interim dividend for the year ending Dec 31, 2022, on July 26, with the record date set on Aug 8.
