Stocks in Focus on Feb 9: IRCTC, Bharti Airtel, Nykaa & More

Investing.com -- IRCTC (NS: INIR ): The e-ticket booking platform for Indian Railways reported a whopping 167.4% YoY jump in net profit at Rs 208.8 crore in Q3FY22, while its revenue surged 141% YoY to Rs 540.2 crore in the quarter.

Bharti Airtel (NS: BRTI ): The telecom company’s net profit for Q3 FY22 dropped 2.8% on a YoY basis and 27% QoQ at Rs 830 crore but revenue grew 5.4% to Rs 29,866.6 crore on a QOQ basis. The telco’s board has approved raising to Rs 7,500 crore through debt instruments.

Vedanta (NS: VDAN ): The mining major post its reorganisation review, concluded that its present structure is optimal and it would not be undertaking any corporate restructure, including demerger. It has also announced a policy to allocate capital.

NMDC (NS: NMDC ): The state-owned mineral producer’s net profit dropped 2.8% to Rs 2,048.40 crore in the Dec-ending quarter, due to higher expenses. 

Bajaj Electricals (NS: BJEL ): The consumer electrical equipment manufacturing major’s net profit in Q3 declined 51% YoY to Rs 48.2 crore, while revenue from operations depreciated 12% YoY to Rs 1,320 crore. Additionally, the company will also demerge its T&D business into a separate company.

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra): The telecom company’s loss on a YoY basis increased to Rs 302 crore in Q3 FY22, and the revenue from operations climbed 2% to Rs 284.2 crore in the quarter.

Bata India (NS: BATA ): The footwear company’s net profit jumped 177% YoY to Rs 72.32 crore in the Dec-ending quarter, while its revenue surged 37% YoY to Rs 841.3 crore.

Companies including Nykaa (NS: FSNE ), Power Grid (NS: PGRD ), SAIL (NS: SAIL ), Tata Power (NS: TTPW ), Aurobindo Pharma (NS: ARBN ), Berger Paints (NS: BRGR ), Indiabulls Housing Finance (NS: INBF ), and Paras Defence and Space Technologies (NS: PRAF ), among others, will release their Q3 FY22 earnings today.
