Investing.com -- Wipro: Subsidiary Wipro (NS:WIPR) Holdings (UK) has transferred 100% shareholding in step-down subsidiary Wipro 4C NV to another subsidiary Wipro IT Services UK Societas on Sept 12, for rationalization and simplification of the overall group structure.

Mahindra & Mahindra (NS:MAHM): The Assistant Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Department, Begumpet Division, Hyderabad has fined the auto giant with a penalty of Rs 1,69,949 under the provisions of the Telangana VAT Act, 2005.

IRCTC (NS:INIR): The state-owned major signed an MoU with NBCC (NS:NBCC) Services for interior works related to the company’s upcoming office space at the World Trade Centre in Delhi, at a tentative order cost of Rs 31.4 crore.

NTPC (NS:NTPC): The power generation giant has completed the trial operation by Unit-1 (800 MW) of the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project.

Vakrangee (NS:VAKR): The software company will acquire an 8.8% equity stake in Vortex Engineering from private equity investor International Finance Corporation.

KEC International (NS:KECL): The construction engineering company has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,012 crore across its businesses and new clients.

GMR Power and Urban Infra (NS:GMRP): The construction engineering company has acquired a 100% stake in GMR Smart Electricity Distribution (GSEDPL) from subsidiary GMR Generation Assets, increasing its effective holding in GSEDPL from 82% to now 100%.

Shalimar Paints (NS:SHLP): The paintmaker’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Davinder Dogra has tendered his resignation due to personal reasons.
