Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Stockholm Basic Materials, Stockholm Industrials and Stockholm Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 2.41% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 2.11% or 0.46 points to trade at 22.27 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 0.89% or 2.20 points to end at 244.00 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 0.20% or 0.60 points to 298.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which fell 5.89% or 4.60 points to trade at 73.40 in late trade. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 5.15% or 4.80 points to end at 88.40 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) down 4.59% or 15.10 points to 313.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 572 to 212 and 71 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.37% or 0.25 to $68.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.33% or 0.24 to hit $72.07 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 17.95 to trade at $2,599.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.42% to 11.60, while USD/SEK rose 0.95% to 10.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 106.07.
