Sweden shares lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.84%

Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Services , Technology and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.84%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST: BOL ), which rose 1.32% or 4.20 points to trade at 322.40 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST: TEL2b ) added 1.01% or 1.15 points to end at 115.10 and Nordea Bank AB (ST: NDA ) was up 0.71% or 0.64 points to 91.28 in late trade.

Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ), which lost 4.41% or 6.4 points to trade at 138.8 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST: ERICb ) declined 2.81% or 1.98 points to end at 68.42 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ) shed 2.49% or 2.2 points to 85.2.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 323 to 295 and 49 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.66% or 0.47 to $70.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.26% or 0.20 to hit $77.27 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1322.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.34% to 10.2733, while USD/SEK fell 0.60% to 8.5991.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 92.38.
