Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Stockholm Basic Materials, Stockholm Oil & Gas and Stockholm Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 1.94% or 4.60 points to trade at 241.50 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 0.67% or 0.60 points to end at 89.80 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 0.31% or 4.50 points to 1,454.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 4.85% or 2.40 points to trade at 46.30 in late trade. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 3.10% or 4.50 points to end at 140.80 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) down 3.02% or 6.30 points to 202.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 494 to 278 and 71 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.19% or 0.13 to $68.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.17% or 0.12 to hit $72.36 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 8.51 to trade at $2,651.11 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.08% to 11.53, while USD/SEK rose 0.27% to 11.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 107.01.
