Sweden shares lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.63%

Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.63%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST: BOL ), which rose 2.28% or 5.65 points to trade at 253.50 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST: ELUXb ) added 1.00% or 1.9 points to end at 196.7 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST: SSABa ) was up 0.69% or 0.31 points to 44.94 in late trade.

Biggest losers included AB SKF B (ST: SKFb ), which lost 1.27% or 2.2 points to trade at 170.8 in late trade. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST: SCAb ) declined 1.23% or 1.2 points to end at 100.0 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ) shed 1.07% or 1.20 points to 111.45.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 347 to 275 and 66 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $75.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.02% or 0.02 to hit $85.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.45% or 17.30 to trade at $1209.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.27% to 10.3864, while USD/SEK rose 0.40% to 8.9819.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 95.01.
