Sweden shares lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.24%

Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials , Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.24%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ), which rose 1.43% or 4.1 points to trade at 290.6 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST: ALFA ) added 0.69% or 1.6 points to end at 234.9 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ) was up 0.65% or 0.7 points to 107.7 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST: SEBa ), which lost 1.72% or 1.70 points to trade at 96.92 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST: BOL ) declined 1.50% or 3.40 points to end at 222.95 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ) shed 1.21% or 1.5 points to 121.3.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 337 to 281 and 59 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.58% or 1.74 to $69.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.98% or 1.53 to hit $78.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 0.90 to trade at $1200.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.10% to 10.5038, while USD/SEK fell 0.03% to 9.0656.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 95.22.
