Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Stockholm Health Care PI, Stockholm Telecommunications and Stockholm Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.18% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 8.91% or 19.60 points to trade at 239.60 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 1.70% or 5.70 points to end at 341.00 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.33% or 1.90 points to 141.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 2.64% or 2.95 points to trade at 108.60 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.73% or 0.90 points to end at 50.10 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) down 1.63% or 0.52 points to 31.39.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 421 to 315 and 90 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.67% or 1.87 to $71.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.45% or 1.82 to hit $76.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 14.25 to trade at $2,753.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.20% to 11.39, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 10.54.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 103.89.
