Sweden shares lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.08%

Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials , Consumer Services and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.08%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST: ERICb ), which rose 4.67% or 2.97 points to trade at 66.61 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST: ALFA ) added 0.86% or 1.9 points to end at 223.3 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST: ELUXb ) was up 0.75% or 1.6 points to 216.1 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST: ATCOa ), which lost 2.53% or 7.2 points to trade at 276.9 in late trade. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ) declined 2.49% or 2.48 points to end at 96.92 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ) shed 1.27% or 1.1 points to 82.1.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 333 to 272 and 65 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.38% or 0.25 to $66.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.72% or 0.55 to hit $76.43 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.40 to trade at $1301.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.03% to 10.1509, while USD/SEK fell 0.38% to 8.6114.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.57.
