Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Stockholm Oil & Gas, Stockholm Industrials and Stockholm Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 6.27% or 2.90 points to trade at 48.60 at the close. Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 3.87% or 0.76 points to end at 20.39 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) was up 2.67% or 2.20 points to 83.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which fell 3.13% or 7.70 points to trade at 236.90 in late trade. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 1.22% or 2.60 points to end at 210.30 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) down 0.85% or 12.50 points to 1,449.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 447 to 314 and 84 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.68% or 1.91 to $69.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.43% or 1.81 to hit $72.82 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 2.91% or 79.70 to trade at $2,657.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.39% to 11.53, while USD/SEK fell 0.19% to 11.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 107.01.
