Sweden shares lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.02%

Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare , Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.02% to hit a new 3-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST: TELIA ), which rose 2.66% or 1.07 points to trade at 41.34 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ) added 1.90% or 3.0 points to end at 163.0 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST: NDASE ) was up 1.14% or 0.99 points to 87.70 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ), which lost 18.41% or 16.9 points to trade at 75.1 in late trade. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ) declined 1.66% or 7.7 points to end at 456.4 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST: ELUXb ) shed 1.51% or 2.8 points to 179.2.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 376 to 250 and 51 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.21% or 0.15 to $71.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.32% or 0.26 to hit $80.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 9.90 to trade at $1231.90 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.05% to 10.3662, while USD/SEK fell 0.23% to 8.9420.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 94.68.
