Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.95%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.73% or 2.70 points to trade at 101.60 at the close. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) added 2.32% or 5.8 points to end at 255.3 and Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) was up 1.82% or 5.2 points to 290.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which lost 0.55% or 0.80 points to trade at 144.70 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 0.04% or 0.01 points to end at 25.74 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) gained 0.05% or 0.02 points to 38.81.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 415 to 162 and 63 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.00% or 0.42 to $41.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.04% or 0.46 to hit $43.83 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.62% or 22.15 to trade at $1345.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.10% to 9.4895, while USD/SEK rose 0.54% to 8.5651.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.51% at 96.24.
