Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Stockholm Industrials, Stockholm Financials and Stockholm Telecommunications sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 6.30% or 1.81 points to trade at 30.54 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 4.85% or 3.60 points to end at 77.40 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 2.99% or 3.20 points to 108.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which fell 2.35% or 3.50 points to trade at 145.70 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.36% or 2.40 points to end at 170.00 and Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) down 0.29% or 3.00 points to 1,041.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 435 to 334 and 86 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 5.67% or 4.07 to $67.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 5.61% or 4.24 to hit $71.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.75 to trade at $2,753.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.58% to 11.51, while USD/SEK rose 0.26% to 10.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 104.14.
