At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.49% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedbank AB ser A (ST: SWEDa ), which rose 2.84% or 5.4 points to trade at 195.7 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST: NDA ) added 2.12% or 1.88 points to end at 90.64 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST: SEBa ) was up 1.94% or 1.64 points to 86.14 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Skanska AB ser. B (ST: SKAb ), which lost 3.92% or 6.80 points to trade at 166.45 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ) declined 2.91% or 4.4 points to end at 145.2 and Investor AB ser. B (ST: INVEb ) shed 1.96% or 7.7 points to 386.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 332 to 276 and 71 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.88% or 1.99 to $71.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.83% or 2.12 to hit $76.97 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1313.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 1.32% to 10.3244, while USD/SEK fell 1.23% to 8.7091.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 92.92.
