Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Stockholm Telecommunications, Stockholm Technology and Stockholm Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 2.39% or 2.40 points to trade at 102.40 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) added 2.11% or 19.80 points to end at 960.00 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.98% or 32.00 points to 1,645.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which fell 8.44% or 6.90 points to trade at 74.80 in late trade. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 1.84% or 2.60 points to end at 138.80 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) down 1.66% or 0.11 points to 6.33.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 425 to 328 and 75 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.20% or 0.14 to $70.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $74.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 7.05 to trade at $2,685.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.79% to 11.42, while USD/SEK rose 0.95% to 10.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 103.28.
