Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Stockholm Telecommunications, Stockholm Basic Materials and Stockholm Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.33% or 4.00 points to trade at 305.00 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 1.14% or 0.80 points to end at 71.08 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) was up 0.94% or 2.30 points to 242.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 2.81% or 0.18 points to trade at 6.22 in late trade. Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) declined 2.15% or 0.57 points to end at 25.95 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) down 0.97% or 2.90 points to 297.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 409 to 342 and 77 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.46% or 1.89 to $78.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.00% or 1.59 to hit $81.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 29.45 to trade at $2,502.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.26% to 11.50, while USD/SEK rose 0.16% to 10.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 102.99.
