Stocks in Focus on Jan 14: Mindtree, HCL Tech, RIL & More

Investing.com -- Reliance Industries (NS:RELI): The oil-to-telecom conglomerate Reliance Industries (NS:RELI) will invest about Rs 6 lakh crore in different projects across Gujarat, including green energy, in the next 0-15 years. It will separately invest Rs 60,000 crore in manufacturing solar PV cells, along with other renewable energy equipment.

Mindtree (NS:MINT): The IT player reported a 34% jump in net profit to Rs 437.5 crore in Q3 FY22, on a YoY basis, beating the market’s estimate, while its revenue rose 35.9% YoY to Rs 2750 crore, slightly missing the Street’s estimates.

State Bank of India (NS:SBI): The country’s largest public-sector lender stated on Thursday that it raised $300 million from Regulation S Formosa bonds at a coupon of 2.49%.

Tata Motors (NS:TAMO): The automaker’s global wholesales advanced 2% to 2.85 lakh units in Q3, including the JLR sales, on a YoY basis.

One 97 Communications (NS:PAYT): Paytm Payments Bank became the first beneficiary to receive over 926 million UPI transactions in a month.

Nazara Technologies (NS:NAZA): Subsidiary NODWIN Gaming acquired Planet Superheroes, a comic, pop culture and superheroes merchandising retailer at a transaction value of Rs 4.9 crore.

Plastiblends India (NS:PLST): The company’s net profit for Q3 FY22 rose 6.15% YoY to Rs 12.07 crore, and revenue climbed 8.8% to Rs 174.14 crore on a YoY basis.

Companies including HCL Technologies (NS:HCLT), HDFC Bank (NS:HDBK), Gujarat Hotels (BO:GHTL), Metro Brands (BO:METB),  and Sacheta Metals (BO:SACH), among others, will release their earnings for the December-ending quarter today.
