Investing.com – Spain equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Madrid Financial Services & Real Estate, Madrid Petrol and Power and Madrid Basic Materials Industry and Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA (BME:ANE), which rose 1.75% or 0.34 points to trade at 19.76 at the close. Acciona (BME:ANA) added 1.42% or 1.70 points to end at 121.80 and Cellnex Telecom SA (BME:CLNX) was up 1.29% or 0.45 points to 35.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Laboratorios Farmaceuticos ROVI (BME:ROVI), which fell 4.34% or 3.30 points to trade at 72.80 in late trade. Bankinter (BME:BKT) declined 3.00% or 0.23 points to end at 7.37 and Caixabank SA (BME:CABK) down 1.92% or 0.10 points to 5.33.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 106 to 89 and 19 ended unchanged on the Madrid Stock Exchange.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.44% or 11.90 to $2,741.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.38% or 0.98 to hit $69.79 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.25% or 0.94 to trade at $74.02 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.22% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 104.05.
