Tata Group Stock Under Spotlight After Nuvama Warns of 43% Crash
Investing.com – Spain equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Madrid Consumer Services, Madrid Basic Materials Industry and Construction and Madrid Technology and Telecommunications sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 added 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the IBEX 35 were ArcelorMittal SA (BME:MTS), which rose 4.16% or 1.10 points to trade at 27.55 at the close. International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (BME:ICAG) added 3.29% or 0.13 points to end at 3.93 and Indra A (BME:IDR) was up 2.88% or 1.00 points to 35.68 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Redeia Corporacion SA (BME:REDE), which fell 0.54% or 0.10 points to trade at 18.47 in late trade. Naturgy Energy Group SA (BME:NTGY) declined 0.53% or 0.14 points to end at 26.20 and Industria de Diseno Textil SA (BME:ITX) down 0.40% or 0.19 points to 46.88.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 150 to 43 and 20 ended unchanged on the Madrid Stock Exchange.
Shares in Indra A (BME:IDR) rose to all time highs; up 2.88% or 1.00 to 35.68.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.82% or 27.71 to $3,366.79 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $61.61 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 0.06% or 0.04 to trade at $64.25 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.12% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 98.92.
