Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.53%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrial Investment , Transport and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.53%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE: 4230 ), which rose 4.09% or 1.10 points to trade at 28.00 at the close. Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8170 ) added 3.51% or 0.50 points to end at 14.75 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8280 ) was up 3.22% or 1.00 points to 32.10 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE: 1211 ), which lost 3.88% or 1.50 points to trade at 37.20 in late trade. Emaar The Economic City (SE: 4220 ) declined 3.73% or 0.55 points to end at 14.20 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE: 4004 ) shed 3.13% or 2.75 points to 85.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 52 and 24 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.07% or 0.03 to $45.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.15% or 0.07 to hit $47.03 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1329.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 4.1325, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.57% at 97.11.
