Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Consumer Durables & Apparel, Insurance and Banks sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.56% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320), which rose 9.98% or 4.20 points to trade at 46.30 at the close. Alujain Corporation (TADAWUL:2170) added 8.65% or 3.00 points to end at 37.70 and Arriyadh Development Co. (TADAWUL:4150) was up 6.05% or 1.95 points to 34.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213), which fell 9.58% or 8.90 points to trade at 84.00 in late trade. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) declined 4.63% or 6.60 points to end at 136.00 and Banan Real Estate Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4324) down 4.31% or 0.28 points to 6.22.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 203 to 122 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.26% or 0.18 to $67.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $72.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 22.40 to trade at $3,021.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.34% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 103.74.
