Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.29%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism , Real Estate Development and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.29%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE: 8150 ), which rose 9.94% or 1.62 points to trade at 17.92 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE: 8190 ) added 9.64% or 1.06 points to end at 12.06 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8120 ) was up 8.96% or 1.12 points to 13.62 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Cable Company (SE: 2110 ), which lost 6.88% or 1.72 points to trade at 23.28 in late trade. Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE: 4170 ) declined 4.40% or 1.40 points to end at 30.40 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE: 2030 ) shed 4.00% or 1.70 points to 40.80.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 117 to 57 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.37% or 0.25 to $68.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.62% or 0.48 to hit $77.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.10 to trade at $1202.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.49% to 4.3551, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7519.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 95.02.
