Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Insurance and REIT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320), which rose 9.97% or 6.50 points to trade at 71.70 at the close. Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4143) added 8.85% or 5.10 points to end at 62.70 and East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321) was up 7.20% or 11.60 points to 172.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sedco Capital REIT (TADAWUL:4344), which fell 4.29% or 0.33 points to trade at 7.36 in late trade. Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL:7030) declined 4.07% or 0.48 points to end at 11.32 and Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060) down 3.46% or 1.00 points to 27.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 164 to 125 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
Shares in Sedco Capital REIT (TADAWUL:4344) fell to 5-year lows; losing 4.29% or 0.33 to 7.36. Shares in Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4143) rose to all time highs; up 8.85% or 5.10 to 62.70. Shares in East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321) rose to all time highs; up 7.20% or 11.60 to 172.60.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.58% or 0.47 to $82.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.68% or 0.58 to hit $85.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.40 to trade at $2,338.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.36% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 105.42.
