Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Media, Consumer Services and Transportation sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:8270), which rose 9.99% or 2.00 points to trade at 22.02 at the close. Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) added 9.97% or 2.90 points to end at 32.00 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 8.33% or 0.01 points to 0.13 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Riyadh Cement Co (TADAWUL:3092), which fell 4.30% or 1.15 points to trade at 25.60 in late trade. The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) declined 2.01% or 3.40 points to end at 165.40 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) down 1.70% or 2.40 points to 139.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 180 to 110 and 25 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.53% or 0.40 to $75.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.56% or 0.45 to hit $79.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 7.50 to trade at $2,530.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.14, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 102.04.
