Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.30%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing , Telecoms & IT and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.30% to hit a new 3-year high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8260 ), which rose 7.12% or 0.84 points to trade at 12.64 at the close. Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE: 3020 ) added 5.58% or 0.92 points to end at 17.40 and Umm Al-Qura (SE: 3005 ) was up 3.15% or 0.40 points to 13.08 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Anb Insurance (SE: 8011 ), which lost 3.47% or 0.84 points to trade at 23.36 in late trade. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE: 8070 ) declined 3.02% or 0.60 points to end at 19.30 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE: 1830 ) shed 2.87% or 2.20 points to 74.50.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 87 to 74 and 27 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.49% or 0.31 to $63.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.62% or 0.44 to hit $71.98 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.35 to trade at $1283.85 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.32% to 4.2073, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.262.
