Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Materials and Real Estate Management and Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071), which rose 9.97% or 15.20 points to trade at 167.60 at the close. Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) added 4.97% or 2.15 points to end at 45.45 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:4040) was up 3.98% or 0.88 points to 23.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 6.06% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.31 in late trade. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200) declined 4.33% or 5.60 points to end at 123.60 and Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) down 3.23% or 0.12 points to 3.59.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 173 to 131 and 33 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
Shares in Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) rose to all time highs; rising 4.97% or 2.15 to 45.45.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.33% or 0.93 to $70.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.27% or 0.94 to hit $74.63 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 43.30 to trade at $2,737.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 3.91, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 107.51.
