Norway shares lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.37%
Credit: © Reuters. – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences , Materials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.37%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL: GSFO ), which rose 1.72% or 1.65 points to trade at 97.75 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL: AKSOL ) added 1.39% or 0.80 points to end at 58.42 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL: LSG ) was up 1.29% or 0.8 points to 65.8 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NWC ), which lost 2.12% or 5.80 points to trade at 268.10 in late trade. Norwegian Finans Holding ASA (OL: NOFI ) declined 1.84% or 2.00 points to end at 106.90 and Yara International ASA (OL: YAR ) shed 1.73% or 6.7 points to 380.2.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 73 and 35 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.44% or 0.31 to $70.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.35% or 0.27 to hit $78.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.78% or 9.40 to trade at $1197.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.19% to 9.7267, while USD/NOK rose 0.66% to 8.4095.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 95.48.
