Norway shares lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.07%
Credit: © Reuters. – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences , Materials and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.07%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL: TEL ), which rose 1.68% or 2.7 points to trade at 163.2 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL: YAR ) added 0.56% or 2.1 points to end at 376.0 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL: MHG ) was up 0.19% or 0.35 points to 184.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL: PGS ), which lost 4.91% or 1.58 points to trade at 30.96 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL: REC ) declined 2.60% or 0.02 points to end at 0.68 and Aker Solutions OL (OL: AKSOL ) shed 1.95% or 1.10 points to 55.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 99 to 87 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.46% or 1.73 to $68.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.83% or 1.46 to hit $78.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.10 to trade at $1207.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.01% to 9.6027, while USD/NOK fell 0.42% to 8.2250.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 94.62.
