Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the OSE Health Care Equipment & Service, OSE Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and OSE Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO), which rose 5.38% or 10.70 points to trade at 209.60 at the close. Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) added 3.66% or 2.20 points to end at 62.25 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) was up 3.55% or 3.85 points to 112.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which fell 1.06% or 1.20 points to trade at 111.80 in late trade. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) declined 0.96% or 1.60 points to end at 164.60 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) down 0.90% or 12.00 points to 1,326.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 177 to 105 and 17 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.42% or 0.31 to $72.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.34% or 0.26 to hit $76.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 8.41 to trade at $2,865.51 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.29% to 11.68, while USD/NOK fell 0.67% to 11.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.94% at 107.85.
