Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the OSE Health Care Equipment & Service, OSE Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and OSE Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which rose 3.78% or 4.10 points to trade at 112.50 at the close. Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) added 2.89% or 36.00 points to end at 1,281.00 and Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) was up 2.83% or 7.15 points to 260.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM), which fell 5.14% or 9.60 points to trade at 177.00 in late trade. Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) declined 2.94% or 2.75 points to end at 90.90 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) down 2.81% or 0.33 points to 11.23.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 145 to 121 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.63% or 0.45 to $72.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.53% or 0.40 to hit $76.24 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 1.05 to trade at $2,950.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.37% to 11.61, while USD/NOK fell 0.15% to 11.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 107.07.
