Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 1.17%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Holding Companies , Construction & Building Materials and Forestry & Paper sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 1.17% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS: DLM ), which rose 5.97% or 9.95 points to trade at 176.55 at the close. Maghreb Oxygene (CS: OXYG ) added 4.45% or 4.30 points to end at 100.90 and Sonasid (CS: SOND ) was up 4.43% or 19 points to 437 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ciments Du Maroc (CS: SCM ), which lost 5.12% or 60 points to trade at 1110 in late trade. Residences Dar Saada SA (CS: RDS ) declined 4.44% or 8.00 points to end at 172.00 and Lafarge Ciments (CS: LAC ) shed 3.03% or 55 points to 1760.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 9 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.04% or 1.45 to $46.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.98% or 1.46 to hit $47.58 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.16% or 2.05 to trade at $1324.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.29% to 10.8390, while USD/MAD rose 0.68% to 9.8441.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.89% at 96.48.
