Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.33%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities , Pharmaceutical Industry and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.33%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were CDM (CS: CDM ), which rose 5.99% or 25 points to trade at 435 at the close. CTM (CS: CTM ) added 5.97% or 31.00 points to end at 550.00 and Hps (CS: HPS ) was up 3.59% or 18.90 points to 545.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Dari Couspate SA (CS: DRI ), which lost 5.95% or 92 points to trade at 1453 in late trade. Lydec (CS: LYD ) declined 5.71% or 30.00 points to end at 495.00 and Cartier Saada (CS: CRS ) shed 5.26% or 1.00 points to 18.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 32 to 17 and 9 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.53% or 0.26 to $48.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.31% or 0.15 to hit $48.66 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1251.25 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.07% to 10.9100, while USD/MAD fell 0.01% to 9.7302.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.09% at 95.39.
