Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.28%
Credit: © Reuters. – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Utilities , Food Producers & Processors and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.28%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Jet Contractors (CS: JET ), which rose 9.99% or 15.70 points to trade at 172.90 at the close. Stroc Industrie (CS: STR ) added 9.99% or 5.34 points to end at 58.82 and IB Maroc Com SA (CS: IBC ) was up 9.89% or 8.70 points to 96.70 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Lydec (CS: LYD ), which lost 5.32% or 33.00 points to trade at 587.00 in late trade. Lesieur Cristal (CS: LESU ) declined 4.42% or 7.40 points to end at 160.10 and Salafin (CS: SLF ) shed 4.41% or 39 points to 845.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 25 to 24 and 1 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.68% or 0.33 to $49.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.00% or 0.51 to hit $51.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 9.22 to trade at $1258.62 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.27% to 11.1020, while USD/MAD rose 0.34% to 9.5181.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 93.82.
