Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.21%
Credit: © Reuters. – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Telecoms and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.21%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were BMCI (CS: BMCI ), which rose 6.18% or 39 points to trade at 670 at the close. Hps (CS: HPS ) added 5.14% or 73.00 points to end at 1493.00 and Fenie Brossette (CS: FBR ) was up 4.63% or 6.50 points to 147.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Cartier Saada (CS: CRS ), which lost 5.59% or 1.52 points to trade at 25.67 in late trade. Involys (CS: INV ) declined 3.76% or 4.95 points to end at 126.65 and BCP (CS: BCP ) shed 1.69% or 5.00 points to 290.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 21 to 15 and 8 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.63% or 0.30 to $47.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.50% or 0.25 to hit $49.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.57 to trade at $1245.57 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.31% to 11.0900, while USD/MAD fell 0.68% to 9.5358.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.62% at 94.05.
