Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.09%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Invest Companies & Other Finance , Utilities and Construction & Building Materials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.09%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delta Holding S.A (CS: DHO ), which rose 3.35% or 0.74 points to trade at 22.84 at the close. S2M (CS: S2M ) added 3.25% or 6.30 points to end at 199.90 and Med Paper (CS: PAP ) was up 2.96% or 0.54 points to 18.77 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Maghrebail (CS: MAB ), which lost 5.86% or 51 points to trade at 819 in late trade. Eqdom (CS: EQDM ) declined 4.58% or 48 points to end at 1000 and Cartier Saada (CS: CRS ) shed 3.44% or 0.68 points to 19.07.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 22 to 20 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.73% or 0.34 to $46.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.84% or 0.41 to hit $48.20 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.39% or 17.65 to trade at $1290.75 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.43% to 10.8640, while USD/MAD fell 0.41% to 9.8281.

The US Dollar Index was down 0.57% at 97.76.
