Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.01%
Credit: © Reuters. – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Holding Companies , Insurance and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.01%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Miniere Touissit (CS: CMT ), which rose 6.83% or 85 points to trade at 1329 at the close. IB Maroc Com SA (CS: IBC ) added 6.59% or 6.00 points to end at 97.00 and Eqdom (CS: EQDM ) was up 4.17% or 44 points to 1100 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Realis. Mecaniques (CS: SRM ), which lost 5.20% or 14.50 points to trade at 264.50 in late trade. Zellidja S.A (CS: ZELI ) declined 3.56% or 4.10 points to end at 111.00 and Atlanta (CS: ATL ) shed 3.03% or 1.58 points to 50.62.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 14 and 9 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.20% or 0.10 to $50.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $52.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1282.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.15% to 10.7570, while USD/MAD fell 0.24% to 10.0052.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 99.56.
