Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 1.02%
Credit: © Reuters. – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper , Chemicals and Food Producers & Processors sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 1.02% to hit a new 52-week low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS: SNA ), which rose 2.52% or 0.29 points to trade at 11.79 at the close. Sonasid (CS: SOND ) added 0.78% or 4 points to end at 519 and Disway SA (CS: DWY ) was up 0.60% or 1.95 points to 326.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Colorado (CS: COL ), which lost 7.55% or 5.47 points to trade at 67.02 in late trade. Med Paper (CS: PAP ) declined 6.52% or 1.50 points to end at 21.50 and Snep (CS: SNP ) shed 4.69% or 25.10 points to 509.90.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 6 and 7 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.60% or 1.07 to $65.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.97% or 1.52 to hit $75.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 7.00 to trade at $1225.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.01% to 10.8500, while USD/MAD rose 0.11% to 9.5484.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 96.72.
