Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.71%
Credit: © Reuters. – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Utilities and Distributors sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.71% to hit a new 3-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Auto Nejma (CS: NEJ1 ), which rose 5.96% or 125 points to trade at 2224 at the close. Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS: DLM ) added 4.86% or 8.30 points to end at 179.00 and Taqa Morocco SA (CS: TQM ) was up 4.49% or 38.70 points to 900.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Stroc Industrie (CS: STR ), which lost 9.99% or 3.48 points to trade at 31.37 in late trade. Total Maroc SA (CS: TMA ) declined 9.97% or 157.0 points to end at 1418.0 and Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS: NKL ) shed 8.74% or 3.93 points to 41.02.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 32 to 23 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.92% or 0.62 to $66.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.62% or 0.48 to hit $77.08 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.70 to trade at $1295.40 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.10% to 11.0830, while USD/MAD rose 0.13% to 9.4970.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.12.
