Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.70%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals , Real Estate and Forestry & Paper sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.70%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS: AGMA ), which rose 5.93% or 176 points to trade at 3143 at the close. Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS: DLM ) added 4.70% or 8.50 points to end at 189.30 and Timar (CS: TIM ) was up 1.83% or 3.95 points to 220.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Snep (CS: SNP ), which lost 6.98% or 45.00 points to trade at 600.00 in late trade. Cartier Saada (CS: CRS ) declined 5.74% or 1.51 points to end at 24.80 and Eqdom (CS: EQDM ) shed 5.51% or 67 points to 1150.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.97% or 1.13 to $58.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.04% or 1.28 to hit $63.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 8.65 to trade at $1281.85 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.01% to 11.1820, while USD/MAD rose 0.19% to 9.4084.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 92.79.
